I Have a Dream Charity Golf Tournament

As we approach Martin Luther King Day the eleventh annual I Have a Dream Foundation Golf Tournament is in its planning stages for another successful golf tournament. The “I Have a Dream” Foundation of Boulder County is an independent 501(c)3 nonprofit organization committed to motivating and empowering children from low-income communities to reach their education and career goals by providing a long-term intervention program of mentoring, tutoring and cultural enrichment.  Upon graduation from high school each Dreamer receives a scholarship to college or vocational school.

The I Have a Dream Foundation Golf Tournament’s package includes a continental breakfast, green fees, driving range tokens, golfer contests, on course beverages, arrival bag and a fantastic awards luncheon. The costs are: Individual Golfer: $225 and Foursome: $900. Adding an all inclusive package such as this is a great golf fundraising idea as it adds to the camaraderie of the golf participants with everyone sharing in all aspects of this exciting tournament. Donors will have a memento and look forward to returning to next year’s tournament to golf with the friends and associates they’d met at last year’s breakfast, luncheon and golf game. The bond of helping to empower kids in reaching their dreams will be lasting year to year.

Their silent auction will run on the morning of the charity golf tournament and a live auction will be held during the awards luncheon. If participants would like to purchase an item before the tournament there is a buy now price listed and they may purchase an item out right. This is a good option for donors who are not attending the tournament. The addition of an online charity auction / live auction adds to the fun and broadens the audience for participants interested in donating to the I Have a Dream Foundation.

The I Have a Dream Foundation golf tournament website will handle all aspects of their multi-faceted event. The silent and live auction, golf tournament, registration, email communications and advertising will all be managed within their state-of-the art fundraising website.  For just $399, their golf tournament software will be online for one year so that they can plan, organize and wrap-up the details of their charity golf event. Donors will be able to visit their golf tournament website and make general online donations to their cause all year long in addition to learning more about their worthy cause.
