On November 12th, Veterans Day, we celebrate the service of all U.S. military veterans by looking at an exciting fundraising campaign. The Disabled American Veterans (DAV) is a nonprofit charity dedicated to building better lives for America’s disabled veterans and their families with 1.2 million members. On November 10 DAV will “Cruise for a Cause” in an effort to raise money in support of building better lives for all of our nation’s disabled veterans and their families.
An annual veterans fundraising event is hosted by Insight Credit Union benefiting DAV on Veterans Day annually and it is quite a unique event. The 6th Annual Veteran’s Salute Cruise for a Cause Motorcycle Ride starts its engines this Saturday. It is a police escorted motorcycle cruise. Harley Davidson’s will be seen traveling from Gator Harley-Davidson in Leesburg, Virginia to Stormy Hill Harley-Davidson. The party after the ride will include live music, some of the best food in Lake County, a Charity Auction, and more.
The 6th Annual Veteran’s Salute Cruise for a Cause Motorcyle Ride veterans fundraising website manages registrations, donations, fees, marketing and advertising. Donors, sponsors and participants can be separately added to email lists before and after the event, making communication seamless. The online auction capabilities will manage every detail, including in-kind donations, auction items with descriptions and photos, and a bid summary for the live auction. Secure online payments will be managed and an auto-generated receipt will be sent to each participant. All of these online fundraising features saves them time for celebrating at this creative fundraising event for a worthy cause which touches all of our hearts.
The funds raised at the The 6th Annual Veterans Salute Cruise for a Cause Motorcyle Ride will go directly to Disabled American Veterans (DAV). Their programs include information seminars designed to educate disabled veterans and their families on specific veterans’ benefits and services; mobile service offices helping veterans where they live; assistance to homeless veterans helping thousands of veterans who defended our country’s freedom and have been unable to find their way in society.
