As we approach Martin Luther King Day the eleventh annual I Have a Dream Foundation Golf Tournament is in its planning stages for another successful golf tournament. The “I Have a Dream” Foundation of Boulder County is an independent 501(c)3 nonprofit organization committed to motivating and empowering children from low-income communities to reach their education and career goals by providing a long-term intervention program of mentoring, tutoring and cultural enrichment. Upon graduation from high school each Dreamer receives a scholarship to college or vocational school.
The I Have a Dream Foundation Golf Tournament’s package includes a continental breakfast, green fees, driving range tokens, golfer contests, on course beverages, arrival bag and a fantastic awards luncheon. The costs are: Individual Golfer: $225 and Foursome: $900. Adding an all inclusive package such as this is a great golf fundraising idea as it adds to the camaraderie of the golf participants with everyone sharing in all aspects of this exciting tournament. Donors will have a memento and look forward to returning to next year’s tournament to golf with the friends and associates they’d met at last year’s breakfast, luncheon and golf game.
