Girls Phoenix Chorus Holiday FUN!raiser

The Girls Phoenix Chorus FUN!raiser is happening now through December 31. Their pledge fundraising website allows donors to locate their favorite Phoenix Girls Chorus singer and donate right to her, or to make a general donation to assist with tuition and keep the girls touring and performing.

Each singer has a personal fundraising page appealing to their own audience on Facebook and email which is an effective way to reach the minds and hearts of donors in a personalized fashion. One of their girls, Abby, has discussed what it means to her to be a part of the Girls Phoenix Chorus. “I am starting my second season with the Phoenix Girls Chorus and have been promoted to the next Choir Harmonia. What an honor!! I’ve learned how to increase my technical skills, poise and stage presence. It feels wonderful to be able to represent our chorus in a professional manner and be respected within the choral community. It is thrilling to perform in front of such large audiences.” So far Abby has raised over $845. She has a video on her personal fundraising page of her beautiful choir –http://phoenixgirlschorus.dojiggy.com/ng/index.cfm/a82c554/regPages/pledge/AFORESMAN

The Girls Phoenix Chorus FUN!raiser website manages registrations, sponsorship packages, and product sales. Their state-of-the-art shopping cart registration style offers more flexibility and functionality for their fundraising event, and their registrants can register multiple participants in one step. Administrators can create custom questions based on registration – the same questions are not required for all registrants, and a user-friendly registration process requires less data-entry to register.

“Now in our 32nd Season, this established choral organization draws from every community talented girls who love to sing! The Phoenix Girls Chorus has delighted and entertained audiences around the Valley of the Sun and around the world since 1981. Comprised of girls between the ages of seven and eighteen, we are a private, not-for-profit 501(c)3 organization (#86-0621710) that supports and operates music education programs for talented singers. Repertoire encompasses a wide spectrum of music including classical, sacred, folk, contemporary choral literature, Broadway pieces and foreign language selections. Music education includes vocal development, performance skills, sight singing, music theory, foreign language diction, and choreography. In addition, our young girls mature into outstanding young women, usually at the top of their class. Their education here broadens to a larger scope by learning poise, confidence, team work, and public speaking, creating future leaders for our community.”
