On Friday, May 16, 2014, Menlo College is holding their 14th annual charity golf tournament. The Menlo College Golf Tournament raises funds for its athletics department in supporting 13 varsity teams that compete in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA). “Our golf tournament has been a success and is always a highlight of the year, and a great way to bring the athletic/academic year to a close.”
“This season alone, Menlo has had two teams and eight individuals qualify for their respective national tournament, seen 14 student-athletes earn All-American Honors, had 24 players honored as conference player’s of the week and 19 earn national awards for academic excellence. Our Director of Athletics, Keith Spataro, was recently honored as a 2013-14 recipient of the Under Armour Athletic Director of the Year Award – one of just 28 AD’s in the nation and four from schools in the NAIA to earn this award.”
The Menlo College charity golf tournament website manages online registration for individual golfers and teams, sponsor promotion and management, and complete event management and reporting capabilities including team pairing, and detailed order and financial reporting. The administration area provides a complete player database, storing registration information, as well as email broadcast and email template capability allowing their tournament directors to easily communicate with registered players, sponsors, or prospective supporters. And donors are able to make secure donations without leaving their website while automatically receiving a tax deductible receipt.
